It is clear that the general public in Canada, the US and Denmark prefer using landlines to cellular phones. However, the opposite trend is experienced in the four nations, namely Germany, the UK, Sweden and Italy.
In terms of the figure for mobile telephones, the data of phones used by Italians is the highest, at 90, followed by Sweden, the UK and Denmark where the quantities of mobiles are more than 80. While Canadians use cellular phones the least among seven regions, with under 40 devices, the US accounts for the second lowest position, at nearly 50 phones.
Looking at the traditional phone data, whereas the highest desk phone quantity belongs to Denmark (just under 90), Italy witnesses the lowest numbers of home phone users among all nations, with over 40. Furthermore, the other nations experience from 60 to 70 fixed-lines per 100 individuals.
