BÀI MẪU THAM KHẢO

It is believed by some public people that governments are primarily responsible for dealing with adolescent obesity and its harmful consequences, which is a global issue. This argument is reasonable to a certain extent, I contend, however, that parents also play a significant role as they are the primary guardians.
It is undeniable that countries should assume responsibility in addressing the problem of obesity. It could be because they have the power and resources to enact laws and policies to enhance a healthier life and minimize the obesity rate among youngsters. Thus, youths must follow these policies, which help them change their habits and lose weight. A good illustration of this is that the Vietnamese government has recently produced a law that requires schools to provide healthy meals for schoolers, which encourages juveniles to participate in physical and creative activities and prohibits selling and consuming fast food around school areas. By doing that, the obesity rate among Vietnamese descendants has been reduced.
On the other hand, I am convinced that parents are also accountable for resolving this problem. Since they take responsibility for managing their sons’ diet and routines, shirking their obligations will make children in poor health and remain obese. For instance, most European parents motivate their children to participate in weekly exercise and sports such as football, basketball, etc. They believe in this way, children can develop normally and not be dramatically affected by ailments associated with obesity.
In conclusion, although states should take responsibility in tackling the problem of childhood obesity, parents play a secondary role in addressing the harmful issue as they directly give advice and manage their offspring’s health.
