I. Gợi ý lên ý tưởng:
Đây là chủ đề nằm trong nhóm “Describe an Experience” mà các bạn thường xuyên được gặp trong part 2 của IELTS Speaking. Và chúng ta có thể triển khai ý tưởng theo cách sau:
- Về ý thứ nhất: Tin vui đó là gì? Các bạn nên lựa chọn miêu tả những tin vui đặc biệt, có giá trị trong cuộc sống của bạn. Các bạn có thể nói về lần nhận được thông báo trúng tuyển trường đại học, lần được thăng chức ở công ty, hoặc một lần thoát nạn.
- Thứ hai: Bạn nhận được tin đó khi nào? Các bạn nên miêu tả ngắn gọn về thời gian và không gian địa điểm bạn nhận được tin. Có thể kết hợp luôn ý trong lúc đó đang làm việc gì với ai và kèm bày tỏ cảm xúc ngay lúc đó khi biết tin vui
- Thứ ba: Bạn biết nó qua đâu? Bạn nói ngắn gọn 1 – 2 câu giới thiệu về người kể, có thể là một người bạn cũ sau nhiều năm không nói chuyện, một người đồng nghiệp thân thiết, một người họ hàng.
- Thứ tư: Cảm xúc thế nào sau khi nhận được tin vui. Các bạn có thể dùng các từ vựng chỉ mức độ vui mừng như:

– on cloud nine (idiom): hạnh phúc như ở trên mây

III. Bài mẫu:
Well, recently I got some absolutely fantastic news from a friend and I have actually been praying for her and sending positive vibes to her as much as I possibly could. She actually got diagnosed with tuberculosis which of course is a terrible and excruciating disease that takes many lives every year. She told me recently within the last week that she is making a really good recovery and actually, she got a clean bill of health right now and the treatment that she did for her tuberculosis has been extremely successful. It was in remission and I was relieved beyond belief. So it was actually three days ago that she sent me a text message that had a bunch of exclamation points saying I’m great, I’m good and I don’t have to worry about this for the foreseeable future. At that time, I was just so joyful. The reason I felt so great about this was because I couldn’t imagine putting myself in her shoes, being so young only 17 years old and being diagnosed with such a fatal disease. A disease that can really take a person’s life. It must have been absolutely horrible for her, not the pain that she must have felt in her body during her treatment but also the anxiety and nervousness that she must have felt after getting the diagnosis. So now when I know that she is okay and she has the peace of mind. I’m just so happy for her.

Therefore, it’s important to consider the potential repercussions of sharing something on social networking sites, lest they impact your reputation and credibility.

Without access to both good and bad news, readers would be unable to obtain updated information.

Additionally, hearing good news from friends can help to foster a sense of solidarity, as we can share in their joy and celebrate their accomplishments together.
