II. SAMPLE ANSWERS:
- How often do you go to a public library?
- Well, I consider myself as an avid reader so I always carry at least 1 book with me to read whenever I have free time. Therefore, I kept a habit of going to the library 10 hours a week since I was in high school to borrow books as well as self-taught.
2. Why are libraries good places for reading?
- In my opinion, unlike other amusement areas, everyone who comes to the library has the same purpose, which is to study and read. Therefore, they all keep a really serious attitude such as limiting talking loudly, wearing headphones, or not gathering in large numbers
3. What can you read in a library that you can’t read in other places?
- To my knowledge, people go to the library to read old academic papers that are not available online or they want to delve deeper into a certain field in the past when the internet was not yet developed.
4. Who should be responsible for the cost of running public libraries?
- Well, honestly, the majority of the running costs should be the responsibility of the local government since libraries are public facilities. Moreover, it provides the opportunity for people to learn, not just the younger generation but everyone. Therefore, everyone should pay a small amount to become a member of the library so that people will be more conscious in preserving books and infrastructure.
